JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building packaging machine sub- assemblies.
Checking parts for proper manufacturing
Installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines according to diagrams and written specifications
Mounting auxiliary equipment to the machine
Correctly positioning parts and drill, tapping and reaming holes at designated points
Aligning and connecting parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools
Strong customer service skills, a team-player attitude & regular attendance is required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1 year of auto mechanic / industrial mechanic experience or applicable education is required.
The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required.
A basic understanding of mathematics principles.
The ability to stand much of the working day
The ability to lift at least forty pounds.
The ability to multi-task
